Wow - it’s been a long time since I’ve updated. So much has happened since then, so now it’s an intimidating task. But I’ll take a stab at it, maybe an abridged version? A reader’s digest version of my life? Hehe…. :)

School started at the UIC pharmacy school last week.  But I’m not there… :) I got in earlier this spring and decided to go. I was really excited for a little while, but then I found myself wishing I could stay in columbus or wishing I could move to one of the new cities too. and I just wasn’t that peaceful about going to pharmacy school yet. I wouldn’t admit it though, and other saints kept asking me if I was sure if that’s what I wanted to do, and I always responded, of course…but then one weekend I was in a meeting, and felt the Lord asking me, are you willing to give this up for me? From there I fellowshipped with a lot of different saints and talked to the Lord, and then one day just decided to stay here in columbus. So anyways, here I am, writing this from good old columbus, ohio
So for the rest of the summer, let’s see…we changed our college meeting pretty drastically last spring quarter. Started a band, I had to learn something about amps and mics, pa systems, and pickups. Hehe…i think I could possible be technologically challenged…but anyways, we’re building off that this year and starting a college meeting on Sunday morning. We’re hoping to meet and help lots of nominal Christians and especially freshman who are just getting to osu, and hopefully can start out their college career by beginning a relationship with the Lord!
:)
But back to the summer, we went on the
Grand Canyon advance in June. It was super fun, we camped on the way out through Colorado and Arizona (it was so beautiful!). we had a conference in Arizona that was amazing. The saints were so warm and happy that we were there. And we had a girl, Laura, who started out the trip kinda thinking all the Christian stuff was weird. And by the time we were in Arizona, she ended up praying with Liz to receive the Lord. :)
And then there was mountaintop, and then the college training, and then the gospel odyssey, and then I went to
California with the mom and Daniel to visit my grandma and aunts and uncles and cousins. And now I’m back in columbus. And I could talk about all those, except this is already super long, and if I were you, I probably would have stopped reading it awhile ago…hehehe…it was awesome though. during the gospel odyssey, I prayed with a girl for her to receive the Lord!!!!! It was so awesome.  The college training was really encouraging too. I felt, and still feel, so unqualified to be serving the Lord. I mess things up, or just don’t do enough, or just (and the list goes on…) but David messed things up a lot! But he had a heart that was after God’s heart, and that made all the difference. It’s really easy for me to just start doing things just cause it seems like a good idea, and then kinda checking with the Lord later. So whether things work or not, many times that’s up to the Lord, but I need to be always seeking His heart. And of course I’ve already jumped ahead of the Lord many times since then, but my prayer is that He would slow me down then once again and just ask Him what is on His heart. :) many of the people around me, including my brother, were just charged afterwards. Lives were changed – it was sooooooooo cool seeing people around me making decisions to turn their life over to the Lord. My dear old roommate mary always said that being a Christian was a romantic life. i think that after this past 4 or 5 months I’m finally beginning to understand what she meant. :) and now this post it totally out-of-control and way too long. I think I might have just published a short story. Hahaha. But now, at least, my xanga is officially updated. :)

American Cities That Best Fit You:

60% Chicago
60% New York City
55% Boston
55% Philadelphia
50% Atlanta

hahaha...i guess chicago fits me best. hehe. :)

You Are 45% Normal
(Somewhat Normal)

While some of your behavior is quite normal...
Other things you do are downright strange
You've got a little of your freak going on
But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself

hmmmmm...cassia is more normal than me. i don't know what that means. heather said that i don't keep to my weirdness to myself and instead let it all out there. i don't know what that's suppossed to mean either. i guess i have a lot of self-reflection to do.

(ps I do not look like that crazy lady with her cat. i mean, i like my cat and all, but that's just creepy)
